One of the most recent additions to Montale's Brown Collection, Aoud Musk, makes use of the contrasting warmth of its two major notes. The more powerful oud is encased in the plushness of the musk, which rests like a delicious haze on the skin. Saffron enhances the leathery qualities of agarwood, vetiver adds more smokiness, and amber gives the mixture a delicate, powdery touch. This oud has been tamed and stroked till the tiniest claw tip is all that is visible.
